1.2 Information Imported from Your Device

With your explicit permission, we may access:

Contacts: Birthdays and names from your device's contact list (only when you choose to import)
Calendar Events: Recurring events from your device's calendar (only when you choose to import)

Device Timezone: Used to provide accurate local time calculations for reminders

We do NOT collect, transmit, or store:

Delete individual events within the app
Uninstall the app (which removes all local data)
Restore your device to factory settings

Wish O'Clock does NOT integrate with or share data with:

Cloud storage providers (beyond iOS system backups)

4.2 Apple System Services

The app uses only standard Apple iOS system features:

UserNotifications Framework: For sending local reminders
Contacts Framework: For importing birthdays (with your permission)
EventKit Framework: For importing calendar events (with your permission)
iOS File Storage: For saving app data locally

These are Apple-provided services with their own privacy protections governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

5. Permissions We Request

5.1 Optional Permissions

Wish O'Clock requests the following permissions, all of which are optional:

Notifications Permission

Purpose: Send you reminders for upcoming events
When Requested: During onboarding or when you enable notifications
Required: No - you can use the app without notifications

Contacts Permission

Purpose: Import birthdays from your contacts list
When Requested: When you choose "Import from Contacts"
Required: No - you can manually add events instead

Calendar Permission

Purpose: Import recurring events from your calendar
When Requested: When you choose "Import from Calendar"
Required: No - you can manually add events instead

Location Permission (When in Use)

Purpose: Detect your current timezone for accurate event timing
When Requested: When automatic timezone detection is enabled
Required: No - you can manually select timezones instead

5.2 Managing Permissions

You can manage or revoke any permissions at any time through:

2. Privacy & Security section

3. Select the relevant permission type

4. Toggle Wish O'Clock on/off

The app will continue to function with limited permissions, though some features may be unavailable.

6. Your Rights and Choices

6.1 Access and Control

You have complete control over your data:

View: All your data is accessible within the app
Edit: Modify any event details at any time
Delete: Remove individual events or clear all data
Export: No export feature currently (data is local-only)

6.2 Data Deletion

To delete your data:

Individual Events: Use the delete function within each event
All Data: Uninstall the app from your device

Once deleted, data cannot be recovered unless you have a device backup.

6.3 Opt-Out Options

You can opt out of:

Notifications: Disable in iOS Settings or within the app
Contact/Calendar Import: Decline permission or revoke in iOS Settings
Automatic Timezone: Disable in app settings and manually select timezones

7. Children's Privacy

Wish O'Clock is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us, and we will delete such information.

8. International Users

8.1 Data Location

Since all data is stored locally on your device, your data remains in your physical possession and jurisdiction.
